Dr. Byron McKnight and his team focus on patients and deliver exceptional results. There is no rushed treatment here. Your initial comprehensive evaluation will begin with an interview with Dr. McKnight to enable him to get to know you, understand your goals and concerns, accurately evaluate your dental needs, and assist you in making wise treatment decisions. Truly personalized care is a reality in our Mesquite dental office because we schedule only a few patients per day. To make your dental visits a joy, we also offer massages, refreshments, a DVD library, internet access, and we can even have lunch delivered to you.

Dr. McKnight will consider the big picture, taking a comprehensive approach to your evaluation, restorations, and smile enhancements. We will meticulously gather data from your evaluation, organize our findings into a clear, visual presentation for your review, and help you understand the pros and cons of various treatment options so you can make an informed choice. This co-diagnosis system allows us to build a strong partnership with you, which translates into a strong, healthy smile.

Dr. McKnight's career is marked not only by a sincere concern for his work here in the practice, but by a commitment to ongoing education as well. He has logged over 2,500 hours of general continuing education credit hours covering advanced dental topics such as complex restorative dentistry, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, and treatment for problems with snoring and sleep apnea. Several times a year, he presents instructional programs to various local, state, and national dental groups.

Also, in 2009, Dr. McKnight received the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Academy of General Dentistry, an award, which at that time, had been given to only 80 dentists in the world.
